Manju can be fed year-round, but winter and early spring place specific demands on koi. Manju is not a specific winter food and should not be confused with wheat germ, for example, of which there are many on the market. Manju was developed to guide koi through cold water periods in a responsible way. The protein content has been reduced by 50%, making the food easily digestible. The digestive system is minimally stressed when koi eat less actively. The available energy is used optimally to maintain condition and resistance, instead of growth.<\/p>\n

To provide sufficient support despite the lower food intake, the vitamin and mineral premix has been increased by 50%. This reinforced micronutrient composition contributes to stable health, supports the immune system, and helps koi prepare well for the transition to spring.<\/p>\n
