When we started developing Kinsai at KiGen, we were convinced that we had created just about the best koi food within our capabilities.

And to be honest: Kinsai is top level.

Kinsai is produced with the very best LT fishmeal available on the market, supplemented with high-quality carbohydrates and a carefully composed premix.

The result: a balanced feed in which color development, growth and general health come together. For us, Kinsai was the top food.

Until… we were introduced to RG-92.

Sakai Fish Farm (SFF) is one of the Japanese breeders who has been using RG-92 as an additive to koi food for some time. And they are not alone in this. Other, internationally renowned growers now also swear by this ingredient.

Many breeders go so far as to state that RG-92 makes a substantial contribution to the development of pure white shiroji. These are statements that you don’t just ignore.

In addition, several breeders also indicate that adding RG-92 to the feed leads to a significant reduction in mortality in tosai farming.

Reason enough for KiGen to thoroughly investigate RG-92. Our conclusion: RG-92 can actually provide a clear added value compared to our existing Kinsai feed.
